Nigerian Afrobeats superstar, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has gifted his wife, Chioma, a brand-new 2025 Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon, worth over $150,000 (₦240 million), just weeks after their grand Miami wedding.
The luxury SUV, which recently debuted on the market, features cutting-edge design upgrades and electric model options, making it one of the most sought-after vehicles of the year.
In a video shared on his Instagram Story on Wednesday, Davido was seen picking up the vehicle while hyping the moment. He revealed that he traded in a previous model and added extra funds to secure the new release.
“First of all, we had to take the one I got, then obviously add more money to get the new one,” the Feel crooner explained.
Davido fawned over the gesture, declaring, “Only the best for my lady,” before eventually presenting the G-Wagon to Chioma, who appeared visibly thrilled. The singer cheered her on excitedly, exclaiming, “We do 2025!”
The surprise gift comes shortly after Davido and Chioma’s highly publicised white wedding in Miami on August 10, 2025. The Miami ceremony, which concluded their three-part nuptial celebrations, followed their court wedding in March 2023 and traditional wedding in Lagos in June 2024.
The lavish Miami event reportedly cost about $3.7 million and drew an elite guest list, including business moguls, political figures, and top entertainers from Nigeria and beyond.
