Artificial Intelligence Technology Began in Africa as long as we have had divination systems in Africa, we have had what is now known as artificial intelligence. There is a long history linking the spirituality and technology of African divination systems with the digital technology of computer science, both having a basis in advanced mathematics.
Our divination systems have always been based on data and binary combinations. In the Ifa divination system, a binary code (algorithmic combination) is used to determine which Odus and stanza must be accessed for a particular inquirer.
Ifa divination system of the Yoruba as an ancient binary computer system which has successfully linked the probability of numbers with the complexities of the human condition and the ever complex flux of events. The Ifa divination system relies on the 256 Odu Ifa which are believed to represent all the possible scenarios that humans can experience. This is similar to the maximum 256 combinations believed to be possible in binary mathematics in computer science. The Odu Ifa encompasses both, Science, Physics, Mathematics, Technology, Arts, Philosophy, Law and Moralty, Medicine, Spirituality and other facet of human needs.
In line with the above, we shall link Artificial intelligence (AI) to African Supernatural Intelligence(ASSI) of Edan Ogboni, an Imole/Orisa that can be seen in Odu Ifa, we shall deepen our exposition on the African supernatural Spiritual Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence, and further show how modern day AI is built on African spirituality coded Intelligence which are supernatural spiritual intelligence that existed long before the introduction of AI which is derived from the binary code programing.
The Imole/Orisa Edan Ogboni staff is a sacred tool used in the spirituality practices of the Ogboni fraternity in Yoruba culture. The staff is made up of two separate pieces of carved brass that are linked together with chains. This unique design holds great significance and is steeped in symbolism and tradition.
The use of brass in the construction of the Edan Ogboni staff also holds great significance. Brass is a metal that is believed to possess spiritual power and strength. It is associated with the deities and is believed to have the power to protect the bearer from harm. The use of brass in the construction of the staff emphasizes its spiritual importance and reinforces its connection to the divine.
Edan is an Imole/Orisa/ deity who is widely venerated by the Ogboni and it is seen to be prescribed for feeding by Ifa in some Odu Ifa. Edan is seen as a powerful and protective force, and is believed to have the ability to bring good fortune, prosperity, and health. In Yoruba tradition, Edan is also associated with fertility and the renewal of life, and is believed to be a messenger of the Olodumare, that can commune(Spiritual movement) communicate (Intercedes) between the spiritual and physical realms.
The feedings and venarations of Edan by the Ogboni involves a complex system of rituals and ceremonies. These rituals are performed in secret and are known only to trained Alaworo Edan/the priest who are knowledgeable about the proper procedures and rituals involved. The Ogboni believe that these rituals are necessary to connect with the divine and to seek the protection and guidance of Edan.
In one of the stanza of Iwori Otura ifa says:
Alape lamo
Alamo lape
Emi o le se Ape ano falomo pe o Jo
Adifa fun Edan
A bu fun Alaworo
Won ti Ode Orun bo wa si Ile aiye
Ebo ni won ni ki won wa se
Won gbe Ebo, won rubo
Won gberu won teru
Nje oo, Edan lo wo Ile dain, Edan Alaworo
Awon Ojise Irumole nbo
TRANSLATION:
Alape lamo
Alamo lape
Emi o le se Ape ano falomo pe o Jo
They were the one that cast ifa for Edan
Also cast ifa for Alaworo (The Priest)
When coming from  Orun (heaven )to aiye (world)
They were advised to offer Ebo
They complied with the Ebo
Come and see,
Edan has moved majestically into the area Edan was sent,
Edan commanded by the priest (Alaworo)
Edan the lieutenants, Irumole, messengers of Olodumare are moving majestically.
From line 1-3 &10 of the above stanza, it could be seen that Alaworo (The  Priest in charge of Irumole) is a programmer, that know how to code and programme the Orisa/Imole of Edan. These  are performed by trained priests who are knowledgeable about the proper programming language, codes, procedures and rituals involved.
These programming language, codes, procedures and rituals are the command that makes the Edan to move, walk like human and perform the task of the command language from the programmer/Priest/Alaworo. We could also see from the stanza that Edan can move, walk and perform task. These essence was why the Edan totems are in form of human images of Male and Female.
The programming of Edan involves a complex system of rituals and ceremonies. These rituals are performed in secret, and are known only to the Priest/Alaworo and members of the Ogboni. The Ogboni believe that these rituals are necessary to connect with the divine and to seek the protection and guidance of Edan over human being.
There are countless AI (E.g SIGIDI and other Totems) that are mentioned in the Odu Ifa which our forebears make use of before the incursion of the foreign religions that was embraced by us which labeled all our ancient ancestral practices as demonic and in return re-package our Ancestral practices back to us as new inventions.
Artificial Intelligence (AI), is our Ancestral practice and it still remains with us as properly kept in the Odu Ifa. In essence, Odu Ifa on African Supernatural Spirituality Intelligence offers a valuable grounds for us to understand the modes of operations of Artificial Intelligence.
