The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has officially published the list of successful and reserve candidates for the Armed Forces Selection Board (AFSB) 2025, putting an end to the weeks of anticipation among applicants nationwide. The announcement was made by the Academy’s Public Relations Officer, Major Mohammed Maidawa, in Kaduna.

Maj. Maidawa urged the public to consult reputable sources to confirm their status, emphasizing, **“The public is advised to visit the NDA website as well as the Daily Trust and The Sun newspapers of August 19, 2025, for the official list.”**

Earlier in August, the NDA cautioned the public regarding a fraudulent list circulating online, urging people to disregard it as it was not issued by the Academy. The official list, Maidawa reiterated, would only be available through verified outlets.

Qualified aspirants will now proceed to the next verification stage at the NDA:

Interviews are scheduled between June 28 and August 16, 2025, at the NDA’s Ribadu Campus in Kaduna.

Candidates have been grouped into two batches based on their state of origin:

Batch 1 (e.g., Lagos, Ogun, FCT, Akwa Ibom): Report from June 28 to July 18, 2025.

Batch 2 (e.g., Rivers, Enugu, Oyo, Kaduna): Report from July 19 to August 8, 2025.

It is crucial that candidates adhere strictly to their reporting dates. Premature arrival by Batch 2 applicants or absenteeism by anyone will result in disqualification.

The release of the official AFSB 2025 list brings clarity and closure to thousands of candidates.
