Governor Dikko Umaru Radda of Katsina State was involved in a minor road accident on Sunday evening, while traveling along the Daura–Katsina Road during his official duties. Fortunately, he escaped serious harm and remains in stable condition.
Initial social media reports suggested the governor may have suffered a fracture and was receiving treatment at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) in Daura.
However, his Chief Press Secretary Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed clarified that the crash was minor, with no serious injuries sustained. Radda was promptly taken for precautionary medical evaluation and assessed to be in good health and high spirits.
Nigerians flooded social media with prayers and well-wishes following the incident.
Governor Radda was involved in a minor road incident but emerged uninjured and stable. Officials confirmed he sustained no serious injuries, and he continues to remain in good health under medical observation and in good spirits. There is no indication of ongoing complications or cause for alarm.
