Khloé Kardashian has officially embraced an unfiltered era for her images, stepping away from heavy Photoshop and digital filters she once relied on. The 41-year-old reality star revealed on her Khloé in Wonderland podcast that she previously retouched nearly every photo saying she “wouldn’t dare post a photo without heavily Photoshopping” and at times even looked like a “cartoon character” in her edited images. “It’s humiliating that I thought that was even a version of myself,” she confessed, citing societal pressures and the influence of those around her as factors in her past use of filters and retouching tools.
Kardashian said she has since “reprogrammed” her mindset, choosing authenticity over artificial perfection. Now she focuses on using proper lighting and taking multiple shots until she finds a natural one she likes. She admitted that some days she still envies filters but is moving away from digital alterations and prefers how she looks in video to still photos.
