Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has reportedly turned down a lucrative offer from Turkish giants Galatasaray, despite the club’s willingness to activate his €75 million release clause and table a substantial wage package.
Sources close to the Napoli forward say Osimhen remains focused on securing a move to the English Premier League, which he considers his top priority this summer. Galatasaray had hoped to make a statement signing by bringing the Nigerian international to Istanbul, but their ambitious bid was quickly dismissed by the player’s camp.
Osimhen, who scored 15 goals in 25 appearances last season, is understood to be weighing his options carefully, with Premier League clubs such as Chelsea and Arsenal reportedly monitoring the situation. With Napoli also open to selling, a move could materialise soon, but only if the right English offer comes through.
