4) Show evidence of renewed vigour, determination and sincerity in the fight against insecurity across the country so that farmers can safely go to their farms to produce food. Â
5) Announce the release of those still in detention over #EndSARS protests and other prisoners of conscience such as Nnamdi Kanu and let peace return to many more parts of the country.

It is very likely that both the government and the protesters (and Nigerians as a whole) would have gained more mileage from the protests if the president had demonstrated a little more empathy for the people of Nigeria by adopting the above lines of least resistance. Because, in one’s view, those streets would have been easier for the president and the nation to walk than the non-productive policies as enunciated and actioned this past one year by PBAT, that the administration would appear to have drawn the people’s sweat and blood to water.
